The Desert

This is how the deserts began.One day the creator was walking across a piece of land and saw a man who wished to help the creator in the creation of this world.So the creator said "You can help me by making the first desert a dry place so every day you will climb to the highest mountains and bring snow and dry it and lay it on the ground" the man said"okay" and just that for the rest of his life and grew so tall he became what we call chimney rock.

The Comanche people used to steal horses for fun what a thrill.The Comanche people practiced many religions but the most practiced one was Christianity.The Comanche people lived in a very hot desert  dry climate.They also ate and grew corn,beans,and squash.Every year the Comanche people meet for a huge powwow.

Life of Raven Claw

A ten year old boy named ravenclaw lived in the south west who was in the comanche tribe.One day ravenclaw sitting in his clans pueblo when the men said they were going to steal horses today.He begged mother to go and she hesitated but she said eat your corn and squash first she said.He gobbled up his corn and squash  then he ran as fast as he could to the men.Then he and the men went.

They came to a large row of stables and their were the horses.They cut open the doors while ravenclaw stayed close behind them.Everyone got a horse except for ravenclaw but he road with one of the men.Then they heard gun fire then men with came all around them and they just ran for it.When they got back they were missing one horse and man.

He came home everyone was in mourning.He ran back home and fell into his mothers lap sobing.He fell asleep and forgot all about it.He ate some corn when he got he still looked sad but he wasn't.When he stood their in the hot dry desert watching the men ride off to steal more horses he laid his head down and just thought about what was going to happen next.
